Eligibility Criteria:

To appear for GATE, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Educational Qualification:
  • Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology (B.E./B.Tech) or a Master’s degree in Science (M.Sc./M.A.) in relevant disciplines.
  • Students in the final year of their qualifying degree are also eligible to apply.
• Age Limit:
  • There is no age limit for appearing in GATE. Anyone meeting the educational criteria can apply.
• Nationality:
  • Indian citizens as well as candidates from other countries can appear for GATE.
• Number of Attempts:
  • There is no restriction on the number of times you can attempt GATE.
